New products help businesses stay current and competitive while ensuring consumer needs are met and expectations are exceeded. Bernick’s has long been known for distributing beverages from the Pepsi family. Over the years, we’ve grown to encompass many products and brands and are proud to be a premier supplier of world-class products. Below are eight of our latest and greatest!
1. Starbucks Iced Coffee Drinks
Coffee, coffee, coffee; many of us can’t start our day without it! And now, Starbucks has made it easier to enjoy all day (and year) long. Starbucks recently created a ready-to-drink cold coffee beverage in a convenient on-the-go bottle. As Starbucks describes it, “Some coffee beans were born to be chilled. These beans and just the right touch of sweetness create a crisp, refreshing taste. It’s the perfect way to stay cool all year long without the guilt.” Research shows that 20 percent of adult consumers in the U.S. drink iced coffee – that’s almost one-third of the population that drink any type of coffee. With numbers like that, you’ll surely want to have this product available.
2. Lipton Sparkling Tea
Lipton is consistently bringing innovation to tea lovers everywhere. Their new sparkling tea is nothing short of delicious. The lightly carbonated tea is infused with crisp but smooth bubbles that leave drinkers feeling rehydrated and refreshed. This delightful tea comes in raspberry, peach, and lemon flavors. According to the Tea Association of the U.S., four out of five American consumers drink tea, and 85 percent of the tea drank is iced. As tea is a rapidly growing industry, we welcome this new drink with open arms.
3. Klarbrunn Übr Water
“Über” stems from the German language, and translates literally to “over” or “above and beyond”. Übr Water (although they dropped the ‘e’) lives up to its name. It is one of the greatest, above and beyond waters on the market today. Übr water “is the ultimate balance + refreshment that combines electrolytes and a high pH level of +7 to give drinkers an elevated hydration for both body and mind.” In 2014, consumption of 16.9oz sized bottle water increased by nearly 140%. As consumers are more aware of healthy choices, the demand for water has grown.
4. Kickstart with Coconut Water
What do you get when you combine the kick of Mt. Dew mixed with the healthy, fresh taste of coconut water? Kickstart! This hydration boosting beverage fuses the energizing blast of DEW®, real fruit juice, and coconut water. Different from other high-energy soft drinks, Kickstart has only 60 calories per 12 oz. can. It all starts with a kick.
5. Redd’s Wicked Mango
Refreshing beverage, full of flavor, higher alcohol content – that’s Redd’s new Wicked Mango Ale. Yes, ale. Many confuse Redd’s beverages with cider, but it is brewed like a beer (not fermented like wines and ciders) and is described as “ale with an edge.” This new Redd’s beverage is sure to stand its ground in the marketplace; according to beverage research, “Redd's brands more than doubled their volume versus the prior year in the second quarter of 2014.”
6. Sprecher Hard Root Beer
Root Beer with alcohol? No, it’s not too good to be true. Sprecher Brewery in Wisconsin has been in the brewing business for more than 30 years. Along with their full line of brews, they also have a line of gourmet sodas. They combined the best of both worlds, and Sprecher Hard Root Beer was born. This hard root beer is a fermented malt beverage, which means it is pretty much a beer, but tastes just like root beer. Believe us, it’s delicious. We can bet that a lot of other suppliers will have ‘me too’ hard root beers coming soon!
7. Outboard, from Milwaukee Brewing Company
This cream ale is as hot as the summer sun. Mimicking European light lagers, MKE’s Outboard is brewed with top fermenting Ale yeast, which gives a more complex aroma and flavor. MKE says, “Cream ales traditionally are brewed with a blend of malted barley and corn grits for a light body and golden straw color. A very slight hop presence helps round out this simple but refreshing beer.” The craft beer industry increased over 18% in volume in 2014, and the retail value of craft beer now makes up almost 20% of the beer industry. As a product of an outstanding craft brewery, Outboard is sure to please any beer lover.
8. New Belgium Slow Ride
“Kicking back and relaxing with a session beer requires little more than a couch, some free time, and a few pals. Slow Ride Session IPA is up for this easy-going challenge.” That’s how New Belgium describes this seasonal IPA, and we couldn’t agree more. The delicious craft beer is a blend of many varieties of hops and combines tropical scents of peach, lime, grapefruit, and melon. 2014 was a big for Session IPAs, but experts say that 2015 is projected to be even bigger. Jump on the craft brew bandwagon and grab some Slow Ride while it lasts.
